Customer:
Fairfield by Marriott, Goa
Project Category:
Hospitality — Hotel Guest Room Comfort & Asset Protection
Customer Requirement:
Fairfield by Marriott needed to eliminate persistent in-room dampness across guest rooms during Goa's coastal monsoon — musty odours, damp linen and bedding, and condensation on windows and glass, all of which guests notice immediately. The same dampness quietly damages soft furnishings, wooden fittings and wall finishes over time. Any in-room equipment had to be quiet, compact and unobtrusive, and the rollout had to complete before the peak season changeover.
Project Result:
Successfully Completed — 105 units of the 20 L/day model supplied and deployed across guest rooms
What we did:
• Specified the AWHD20L (20 L/day) compact model for low noise, small in-room footprint and built-in air-purifying filter • Supplied and deployed 105 units across guest rooms • Positioned units so they stay out of the guest's way and do not intrude on the room experience • Completed the full rollout ahead of the peak season changeover • Briefed the housekeeping team on operation and drainage routines, with a full cycle to settle in before peak occupancy
Project Description
Jet India completed a 105-unit deployment of the AWHD20L (20 L/day) compact dehumidifier across guest rooms at Fairfield by Marriott, Goa. Goa's coastal monsoon climate creates persistent in-room dampness that guests notice immediately — musty odours, damp linen and bedding, condensation on windows and glass — and that quietly damages soft furnishings, wooden fittings and wall finishes over time. The 20 L/day model was chosen for its low noise, compact in-room footprint and built-in air-purifying filter, so it improves guest comfort without intruding on the room experience. The rollout was completed ahead of the peak season changeover, giving housekeeping a full cycle to familiarise itself with operation and drainage routines.
