Customer Requirement:
CtrlS required reliable humidity control for their Chennai hyperscale facility, where coastal conditions bring high year-round ambient humidity together with an airborne salt load. The client needed units with enough extraction headroom to hold conditions through monsoon peaks without running continuously, and the equipment had to integrate with the facility's existing air handling arrangement rather than replace it. Delivery had to land inside a fixed commissioning window.

What we did:
• Assessed monsoon-peak moisture load for the Chennai site rather than sizing to annual average conditions • Specified the WDE-110S (110 L/day) class to give each zone extraction headroom and avoid continuous-duty cycling • Supplied 21 units covering server floors and supporting electrical rooms • Integrated the units into the existing air handling arrangement with no redesign of the client's HVAC layout • Completed delivery and commissioning inside the client's fixed commissioning window
Project Description
Jet India supplied 21 units of the WDE-110S (110 L/day) industrial dehumidifier to CtrlS Datacentres' Chennai facility. Chennai's coastal climate carries high year-round ambient humidity and airborne salt load, which makes moisture control a first-order reliability concern rather than a comfort item. The 110 L/day class was selected to give each zone sufficient extraction headroom during monsoon peaks without cycling the units continuously. Deployment covered server floors and supporting electrical rooms, with the units integrated into the facility's existing air handling arrangement. The project was delivered on schedule against the client's commissioning window.
